In the process of writing and sharing the recipe for the cinnamon buns I was baking, selling and showing-off on social media, I decided to create something different first. A physical interpretation of the recipe.
After all, I trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London.
Where we solidly worked on our physical interpretations, alongside many other exercises (voice and text).
In other words, I felt a bit stuck when writing the recipe. I realised that writing a recipe it a skill on its own, and I didn’t have much experience yet. What I normally aim to do when feeling a bit stuck, is to return to what comes more naturally, what feels more comfortable. In this case, I went back to my roots and explored a different type of expression.
This is the result of my attempt. A physical interpretation of my cinnamon bun recipe.
